Dungarees are back and they here to stay!
Although in saying that...did they ever leave?
Dungarees have been around for decades. From the wide legged disco days of the 70’s, through the big hair years of footloose, to the iconic grunge and ripped fashion phase of our childhood, dungarees have been a constant friend, there for us through it all. And whether you love them or hate them you can’t deny that these nostalgic babies aren’t going anywhere soon.
Over the years I have come to love these adventurous fashion concoctions. As a reasonably petite sized girl I felt that the lack of definition around the waist only made me look shorter and wider. But after a bit of hunting around and with some fashion bravery, I found two pairs that I now can’t live without. Dressed up or simply thrown on, dungarees are truly a closet hero. Trust me, when you’ve hardly slept, not woken up to your alarm and only have 30mins to be out the door and on the way to college these magical things are a life saver.

Another reason why dungarees are one of my closet must haves is their seasonal versatility. Rain or sun, they are the perfect addition to your wardrobe. Ever on the coldest of days you can enjoy their carefree ease. Just pair them with an oversized jumper and winter boots.
